Manny's Parkside is looking for a dedicated team member to join our team in the position of Host. This position is part-time with various shift availabilities ranging from day, evening, and weekend. This position will be responsible for managing reservations and greeting/seating guests with a welcoming demeanor.

Position Summary:
The Host position is an integral part of a restaurant kitchen team, especially in busy restaurants. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Welcome guests as they arrive, engaging with them in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring efficient use of dining space and timely seating of guests.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate table assignments and maintain smooth service flow.
Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations during busy periods.
Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries, reservations, and takeout orders.
Assist in preparing and setting up the dining area, including arranging tables, chairs, and table settings.
Monitor the waiting area and notify guests when their table is ready.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
