Manny’s Parkside is looking for a passionate and driven Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position offers part-time to full-time hours during the summer season, with a variety of shifts available.

Position Overview
As a Line Cook / Prep Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes and keeping the kitchen running efficiently. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to prepare ingredients, execute menu items, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and cook menu items to the Chef’s specifications
  • Assist with daily prep, including chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and preparing sauces
  • Execute dishes during service in coordination with the kitchen team
  • Follow prep lists and recipes with accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Support general kitchen duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, and waste removal
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous professional kitchen experience preferred, especially on a hot line or grill
  • An understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to read and execute prep lists efficiently
  • Solid knife skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Self-motivated and task-oriented
